Title: A professor who cares uses Amazon to save students money once again

Review: If you are lucky enough to have a cool professor that does not make you have the newest version, you will save heaps of cash. I would have spent over $250 for the 2016 version of this book for a summer course toward my degree. Being that there are probably a few commas and three words that are different in the newer version, it is nice not feel robbed by the textbook publisher racket that usually rips me off. New "versions" with few changes cost students obscene amounts of money. Thankfully, more and more professors are putting Amazon links to books like this right on the syllabus. I would like to thank Professor X at University of X. Helping his students save their money instead of letting it go into the hands of greedy publishers would probably get him fired if I used his real name. Thanks Amazon for saving me a summer free of the dollar menu.

Review: The book came in wonderful condition like all the other posts stated. It was a required purchase for my class. The material itself was poorly laid out and explained. Dry reading. If you are doing some of the questions, you do not necessarily have all the pertinent information in the book. A standout example is that no where in the text does it mention the death-bed gift rule, yet a question requires knowledge of this.

On a positive note, I did like the included H&R block software. I like getting hands on experience, and using that was how most tax professionals actually prepare returns.
