Review: What did I like, the projects were simple enough, the mixing of the colors for each project was all over the book. On page 8 the author gives you samples of all the colors, names but not how to mix them, now you have to start searching the pages for that mixed because each color mix has a alphabetical number, and they are scattered all thru the book. The book is not for beginners and not for artist that knows how to mix colors.

Review: Although the instructions are clear and easy to follow, the title "Watercolor Seascapes" is misleading. I was looking forward to working in blues and greens to paint the ocean: water, waves, sky, etc. However, the projects in here are mostly orange, focusing on sand and scrub and even the water is orange.

Review: You can actually do the paintings in this book with just three colors and three brushes! The step by step guide is easy to follow and most of the pictures are not complicated.

Review: I’m a total watercolor beginner wanting to learn landscapes and seascapes. This book is a cookie cutter how to, but I had a hard time right off the bat with the instruction. For me it was missing the “why” I was doing certain things and after several failed attempts on painting the sky in the 1st demo, I moved on to better instruction via YouTube.

Review: Geoff Kersey’s books provide simple, understandable lessons that teach a way to learn watercolor in easy steps. This book has very good explanations for colors and technique. Following the examples in this book is a great way for the relative beginner in watercolor to actually create scenes that look good and teach solid teach techniques.
